Special circumstances arise when KEYS receives items by the hospitality industry and other concerned businesses that are set aside for a charitable fundraising occasion. One such occasion was a lovely invitation by the Gargiulo Family who hosted a Trunk Sale and Lunch Benefit in support of KEYS in the Spring of 2008.

With gracious attention to thoughtful detail, the linen duvets, champagne flutes, fine china, serving trays, other selected inventory and decorative furnishings were carefully displayed in their home which provided KEYS with an intimate opportunity to share our message and mission with invited neighbors and guests. The pleasure of gathering together in one’s home is most welcoming and opened the doors for others to come to know more about the thousands of people served by our mission. The Lunch Buffet was a delightful event and the contributions from the sale reached $2,000—Thanks to Joe & Jerry Gargiulo for this marvelous success!

Positive change in our communities begins at home and in our own neighborhoods and it is our hope to offer resources of goods that safeguard and protect families in need, and to ‘preserve, enhance and beautify’ our communities.
